This Purple Heart and Wavy Soft Maple table
is built from Purple Heart wood reclaimed
from benches at the Capitol Building in
Madison, WI. The table features a dovetailed
drawer that opens from either side of the
table. The drawer fronts are resawn from an
incredible figured Purple Heart board. The
top and sides are built from some nice
figured soft maple as well. The piece is hand
finished in multiple layers of oil polyurethane
and rubbed out with wax.
