This Purple heart and Wavy
Soft Maple coffee table is built
from Purple heart wood
reclaimed from benches at the
Capitol Building in Madison,
WI. The table features a
dovetailed drawer that opens
from either side of the table
and is built from a Purple heart
board resawn to make both
drawer fronts. The top and
sides are built from some nice
figured soft maple as well. The
piece is finished in multiple
layers of wipe on polyurethane
and rubbed out with wax. If
