Custom designed blanket chest with incredible Birdseye Maple top, figured maple panels and cherry
structure. This photo shows the chest right after I built it, so the natural cherry will mellow to a darker
reddish brown over time. The piece is hand finished in multiple layers of oil polyurethane and rubbed out with
wax.
You will notice that there are two different blanket chests on this page. A client saw the first one and asked
me to build a new one, but a bit larger. It also features an aromatic cedar bottom.
